David Griffiths

David Griffiths is Reader in Archaeology at Oxford University, and Director of Studies in Archaeology for the Department for Continuing Education. A PhD graduate of Durham University, he first excavated in Orkney as a student in 1985. A landscape archaeologist with a specialism in the Viking period, he has a particular interest in the archaeology of coastal environments.
